SEATTLE, Wash. – Vermont earned its second trip in as many years to the CBI semifinals with a 73-54 win at Seattle.

Vermont’s (23-13) Kurt Steidl led all scorers with 17 points. Trae Bell Haynes posted 16 points and six rebounds, Darren Payne had 14 points and six boards, and Ernie Duncan added 14 points.

Seattle (15-17) was led by Brendan Westendorf with 16 points and six rebounds while Jack Crook had 12 points and seven rebounds.

Last year, the Catamounts lost at Louisiana Monroe in the semis, 71-65.
