2024 Ro College Basketball Invitational Quarterfinals Recap

Game 1

#1    High Point                 93                 BOX SCORE

#9    Cleveland State         74

#1 seed High Point rolled to a 93-74 victory in the CBI quarterfinals. The Panthers were led by Abdoulaye Thiam, who scored 27 points and hit 6 threes. Four other Panthers were in double figures for the 19-point victory. High Point will face Arkansas State in the first semifinal on Tuesday at 7:00 PM EST on ESPN2.

Game 2

#4    Arkansas State          74                 BOX SCORE

#5    Montana                   61

Arkansas State handled Montana 74-61 in the second quarterfinal of the Ro CBI. The Red Wolves had 6 players in double figures in their convincing victory. Izaiyah Nelson led the way posting 17 points and 12 rebounds. The Red Wolves move on to the semifinals where they will face top-seeded High Point at 7:00 PM EST on ESPN2.  

Game 3

#7    Fairfield                      77                 BOX SCORE

#15  Chicago State            74

Fairfield held off Chicago State in the third quarterfinal of the day 77-74. Caleb Fields carried the Stags, scoring 32 points and playing all 40 minutes. Jasper Floyd and Matt Curtis also scored in double figures to help propel Fairfield into the semifinals. Fairfield will face Seattle in the second semifinal tomorrow at 9:00 PM EST on ESPN2.

Game 4

#3    Seattle                       71                 BOX SCORE

#11  Evansville                   57

Seattle uses a strong second half to defeat Evansville 71-57. The Redhawks trailed by 5 at the break, but outscored Evansville by 20 points in the second half to advance in the Ro CBI. Alex Schumacher led the way for Seattle with 22 points. Seattle will face #7 seed Fairfield in the second semifinal at 9:00 PM EST on ESPN2.

Tuesday, March 26 – Semifinal Round on ESPN2
7:00pm: No. 1 High Point vs. No. 4 Arkansas State

9:00pm: No. 3 Seattle vs. No. 7 Fairfield
 
Wednesday, March 27 – Championship Game
5:00pm on ESPN2
