Game 1

#9  Cleveland State                      51

Cleveland State defeated Northern Colorado 51-49 on a Tristan Enaruna shot at the buzzer. Enaruna scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the win for the Vikings. Cleveland State held Northern Colorado to 14 points in the first half, a CBI record. The Vikings will face #1 seed High Point in the quarterfinals at 12:00 PM EST tomorrow.

Game 2

#5   Montana                               82                 BOX SCORE

#12 Presbyterian                          79

Montana survived a back-and-forth affair with Presbyterian 82-79 in overtime. Aanen Moody led the way for the Grizzlies with 34 points and 6 threes. Samage Teel tied the game for Presbyterian with a layup at the buzzer in regulation. Teel scored 28 points for the Blue Hose. Montana will face Arkansas State at 2:00 PM EST tomorrow in the quarterfinals.

Game 3

#7   Fairfield                     82                           BOX SCORE

#10 Little Rock                 75

Fairfield defeated Little Rock 82-75 after trailing by 5 points at halftime. Freshman Matt Curtis scored 19 points in his first career start for the Stags. Caleb Fields added 15 points and 6 assists to help lead the second half charge. Fairfield will face #15 seed Chicago State in the quarterfinals after the Cougars’ upset win in the first round. That game will take place at 4:30 PM EST.

Game 4

#6   Quinnipiac                  63                           BOX SCORE

#11  Evansville                   64

Evansville survived a tight game with Quinnipiac in the final game of the day. Evansville had a balanced attack with four scorers in double figures. Gage Bobe and Kenny Strawbridge Jr. led the Purple Aces with 11 points each. Evansville advances to the quarterfinals where they will face Seattle at 6:30 PM EST.

Monday, March 25 – Quarterfinal Round

12:00 pm:  No. 1 High Point vs. No. 9 Cleveland State

2:00 pm: No. 4 Arkansas State vs. No. 5 Montana

4:30 pm: No. 7 Fairfield vs. No. 15 Chicago State

6:30 pm: No. 3 Seattle vs. No. 11 Evansville
